Chemical properties: insoluble in water, soluble in acid and alkali, slowly soluble in acetic acid, ammonia, with strong reducibility, and hydrogen evolution with acid and alkali. Moistened by moisture, stable in dry air, and white basic carbonate formed in moist air to cover the surface. The air burns a blue-green flame to produce zinc oxide. High purity reacts slowly with sulfuric acid and nitric acid, and accelerates when a small amount of other metals such as steel, tin, and lead are contained.
Product uses: organic, inorganic chemicals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, printing and dyeing, metallurgy, reducing agents, catalysts and other industries.
